  • Four months before our wedding we had to scramble to find a new venue due to state regulations and unpredictability of having an indoor wedding. Tom at Bellevue Hall was so helpful and made the transition EXTREMELY easy! The estate is so beautiful and offered everything outdoors in their brand new picturesque tent which is what we were looking for! They had many different package options and are very flexible, not to mention how good the food looks! We are so happy Bellevue Hall saved the day and cannot wait to get married here!

  • All of the 2020 brides and grooms understand how stressful it is when it comes to making decisions about their big day, especially during 2020. I was on the verge of postponing my wedding and lost all hope. Then one day I came across Bellevue Hall online, and I decided to take a tour. That was the best decision that I could have ever made! I will be getting married in October 2020 and decided to switch to an outdoor reception venue in August. You can imagine the stress that I had. Tom Covello came to the rescue! He made me feel as though my voice was heard, the safety of my guests was important, and that he cared about my fiancee and I having a beautiful wedding day. As soon as I met him and saw Bellevue Hall in person, I knew that is where I wanted my guests to celebrate our big day! When you walk into Bellevue Hall, you feel as though you are in a mansion. The character inside is absolutely stunning! The library with the fireplace is a dream room and there is plenty of room fo... Read more

  • Bellevue Hall and its team has been an absolute LIFESAVER. About 3 weeks ago, my fiance and I were on the verge of just cancelling our wedding altogether after having to postpone it twice at our original venue. It was hard to remain positive, and we weren't interested in pushing our wedding back anymore. In comes Tom, the venue manager, and Bellevue Hall! My sister talked me into going for a tour, but I just wasn't in the wedding mood anymore and didn't have any expectations. As soon as we arrived at Bellevue, much to my surprise, I actually found myself getting exciting about a wedding for the first time in months, and I could immediately envision myself being there the day of my wedding. The outside is gorgeous, with plenty of room and options for set up. The mansion is AMAZING, and I'm so excited to pretend like it's mine for the day of! The downstairs offers several rooms for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception options. Each room has so much history and character... Read more

  • Tom and his team at Jeffery A. Miller catering score a 10 out of 10 on every aspect of wedding execution: friendly, detailed, flexible, cost-effective, relatable, highly-communicative, experienced. And not to mention, the venue is absolutely STUNNING. In our opinion, Bellevue Hall is the best value for a wedding venue in the entire tri-state area, and we have more experience looking at venues in PA/DE/NJ/NY than probably 99% of couples. Very reasonable pricing, with a ton of elegance and amenities. We could not possibly recommend this place (and Tom) more than we do. Here’s the longer story. Planning a wedding during COVID will hopefully be one of the more challenging things my wife and I will do together. Our initial wedding was planned for April 18, 2020, but by mid-march, it was clear that we were going to have to postpone. We postponed to July 12th, feeling fairly confident that this date would be safe. To make a long story short, at different points in the planning process, w... Read more

  • Tom Covello, the wedding coordinator for this venue was an absolute doll to work with. He is spunky and a seasoned wedding planner. He is so passionate about this STUNNING property. My husband and I fell in love with this manor the second we walked in. Jeffrey A Miller has restore this manor and the attention to detail and beautiful is breath taking. There is space for the bridal party and the groomsmen to get ready separately. Plenty of room for dancing and food and eating and drinking. The grounds are stunning. Everything is beautiful. The layout provides a great mingling atmosphere for guests to enjoy and explore. This experience was wonderful and almost completely stress free. This group and venue make your dream wedding a reality.

  • Bellevue is a beautiful location, we picked this location specifically for the natural beauty that it has. The ceremony didn't require much decor from us as all the flowers were in bloom which made for beautiful photos. The mansion has a ton to offer those who rent it as well, you have the 2nd floor with more than enough room to get ready I had 12 people in my wedding party. Nine of which were girls, and no one was tripping over anyone else. I would book this venue for another event any day! Highly recommend it if you are looking for something that already has character.

  • Such a beautiful venue! We got married on July 9th and had our reception at Bellevue Hall. We had a large guest count so we had a tent out back. We loved the idea that we had our reception outside under a tent, but if it got too hot for our guests, they could go inside in the air condition for relief. Also, it started raining during our cocktail hour when my husband were getting pictures done, so we went upstairs on the second floor. The setting upstairs is so beautiful and vintage, that we've been told we looked like we were on movie sets. We are still receiving compliments on how lovely the venue was. Also, the staff was very pleasant to work with! Highly recommended

  • Owned by the state park, this venue looks like it should could tens of thousands of dollars and it is so inexpensive. We had the fireplaces lit during my chilly October wedding. The employees were so polite and helpful; they set up the chairs exactly how I wanted (even though it was unconventional) and wiped them all down when we had a little rain.

  • I am so happy we chose this unique venue for our wedding reception. All of our guests loved exploring the house, and said what a unique wedding site it was. The staff at Bellevue State park is so nice and are very easy to work with, and it was also an excellent location for our wedding photos. If you do select Bellevue as your reception site, I would also recommend Bixby Caterers - Lisa Bixby was so knowledgeable and helpful, and our guests loved the food!

  • The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and every guest commented on how beautiful and unique it was. The pictures are also phenomenal but if you’re planning to have your wedding here you need to make sure you are on top of your game because they say theres an event coordinator but they are of no help at all. I never even met the event coordinator and honestly, there was barely any communication from them; way too hard to get ahold of. So if you’re a bride like me- on top of everything and used to throwing major events like this- then book Bellevue as is! If you’re not, I 100% recommend hiring a wedding coordinator to make sure your event runs smoothly throughout the day and can keep everything on time and on track. Our caterer was very easy to work with: Brandywine Catering, we really enjoyed working with Ted and with Kevin from Action Events(we rented a tent for dinner). They met us onsite a month before the wedding to go over all of the details which was incredibly helpful, ag... Read more

  • Belleuve State Park is an absolute gem of a venue in Delaware. We had perfect weather, and our guests were blown away by the gorgeous grounds and mansion--it was so nice that people could explore and enjoy the park during the reception. We worked with someone named Kathy closer to our event--she is wonderful and very helpful and professional--but we did have another event coordinator earlier in the process who didn't seem to know all the park rules or protocol when dealing with other vendors. I think she left the job, but I wanted to offer fair warning to anyone else planning a Delaware State Park wedding that sometimes your caterer or tent vendor might know more than the park person does (unless it's Kathy). For example: we were told we couldn't start setting up anything at the park until two hours before our event started, which was ludicrous since we were in the church two hours before the event :) Our caterer (Lisa Bixby) was of course at the mansion over 24 hours in advanc... • Bellevue Hall was perfect for my February wedding. With 50 guests, it was a perfect venue for a classy and intimate wedding. The fireplaces added to the cozy atmosphere, the richly appointed decor complimented the look and feel that we wanted our special day to encompass and the backdrop of the builidngs in the outside shots are impressive. The staff was very responsive and incredibly friendly. I would recommend Bellevue Hall wholeheartedly.

  • We loved Bellevue Hall for our wedding. Only issue was it was somewhat expensive and you have to use their preferred vendor list for catering, would recommend Toscana Catering though, they know their venue very well and know how to work with it. Such a gorgeous and historic place for a wedding, would recommend it, every guest enjoyed themselves! Nikki was also a breeze to work with when planning the event and use of the venue.
