  • It’s evident from the first minute we met Carisa and her team that they are passionate about what they do. We hired Adornment Events for ‘day of’ coordination and we are beyond thankful for how involved her team was. We ended up hiring her recommended vendors (Aralani Photography, Atelier Pictures & Amanda Karam Floral) which resulted in a true ‘dream team’. It was wonderful to see how they all worked seamless together to execute the vision for our wedding. We also ended up hiring Carisa’s team to help with design (signage, table settings, etc.) which resulted in a beautiful, tasteful, elegant setting that blew our guests away and was better than anything we could have put together ourselves.   • We had a small wedding up at Silcox Hut on Timberline, and while we handled pre-wedding stuff alright, Carisa and Molly were a must-have for day-of and I highly encourage the investment! They went the extra mile with finding rogue runners and supplying fun lighting elements, and were super friendly to all of our guests.

  • I absolute loved working with Carisa and her team! Their attention to detail is incredible. They really think of everything and make sure it al goes off without a hitch. If you are on the fence about investing in a wedding planner, just do it!! You won’t regret it. They really take all of the stress and minutia off your shoulders. Don’t know how I could’ve done it without her!

  • Adornment did a great job with our day of planning. They were super responsive leading up to the wedding and constantly answered a ton of questions we had. It is so crazy how many little things come up in the planning process that you would never think of. When it came to the day of having the team to set up and break down was so great. We literally just got to show up and it was perfect. They conducted all of the timing and made sure everything ran smoothly so my husband and I could just be present and enjoy our friends and family. Their day of coordination was hands down money well spent. The wedding goes by so quickly and having a team to help you in the process is super valuable so you can focus on making memories instead. Shout out to Mollie she got more then her 10,000 steps in that day :)

I couldn't have asked for a better group of women to support me on my big day and also take care of any need that arose. I would highly recommend Adornment Events to anyone looking for a seamless coordination service for their upcoming wedding!

  • Okay so *I'm* skeptical when I see 5 star reviews for wedding/event planners too: "Okay, which friend did they recruit to write this?" But no: Adornment Events was recommended to me by a friend who had nothing but great things to say, and from our first meeting, Carisa exceeded all my expectations. I was planning a fundraiser that was going to be modeled after a wedding, and Carisa and the Adornment team thought of things I hadn't, anticipated problems and solved them before they even happened, and communicated with me exactly how and how often I wanted to be updated. She and the team also changed gears quickly when I asked for a couple changes, and when the wedding was threatened by a snowstorm, she and the team were committed to getting to the location whether the event ended up happening or not (the snowstorm didn't happen, and the event was a huge success!).   • Adornment was absolutely the best money I spent towards my wedding. I am someone who is very organized, and did not think I had any need for a planner, but their day-of (realistically month-of) services was truly priceless. Their expertise of event flow, and scheduling kept our day perfectly on-track, and having a whole team contacting vendors, directing guests, setting-up and tearing down allowed me, my bridal party, and family to all be relaxed and truly enjoy the big day. Not to mention, all the adornment ladies are SO fun and wonderful to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

  • Our son was married on Sept 1 in Portland. It was a destination wedding for them, and I was honored to plan the local arrangements. I was told that the most valuable person to hire was the "day of" planner. That turned out to be absolutely true. I hired Adornment Events and they were just great. From the 6 month time line to the day of the wedding, they were wonderful to work with, very professional and they had great ideas and were very helpful in terms of planning the day. Mollie attended the Rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Mollie and her team were on fire. Those girls were on the go the whole time. Everything went off very smoothly and in a timely manner. They were wonderful to work with and I can highly recommend Adornment Events if you are planning a wedding.

Carisa added special touches to our day we didn’t even know about that made it even more exceptional.   • Carisa (and her team) epitomized what a planner is. They worked to insure our wedding was what we wanted and they did so with creativity, passion, professionalism and fun! From the first meeting we had to following up weeks after the wedding, I had 100% confidence that my best interests and needs were at heart. Carisa’s endless energy, vast industry knowledge and genuine personality made her truly a pleasure to work with, and allowed us to enjoy our wedding without a worry.   • Look no further. Carisa and her team were the very best and very easy for work with. She always responded in a timely manner. She asked all the questions needed to make the day go off without a hitch. She is very professional and organized yet very flexible and personable at the same time. Everything went so smoothly. We couldn't have asked for more. Even our guests were amazed at how very much enjoyable and organized our wedding was. I do not do well with chaos and having Molly and Yaddira there made all the different in the world. Our DJ was Joshua and he did a super fabulously great job. We could not have asked for better. Adornment Events did an excellent job. I loved how Joshua, Molly and Yaddira all worked so perfect together. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. They all went above and beyond my expectations.

  • Carisa and Mollie are the sweetest! They were prompt with emails and kept up with the changes, up until the day of the wedding. My reasoning for giving Adornment Events 4 stars is as follows. I had ordered individual rose gold name card HOLDERS that would have gone perfectly with the name cards! The boxes that contained the name card holders inside was labeled just like everything else that needed to be set up. However, they were not used so the name cards just lay flat. I didn’t get a clarification as to why they weren’t used. I felt really bummed about it. Furthermore, the Welcome sign that was used for the ceremony was moved and displayed upstairs for the reception. This was a problem because on the sign it says “sit anywhere you like” which wasn’t true for the reception. There were literally people that sat wherever they wanted to even though the name cards had table numbers on them. Guests were confused. We feel like Carisa and the team could’ve paid closer at...     Maria we are so sorry to hear of your issues! Your placecard holders were used for the Table Numbers and weren’t enough for your guest count. We hosted the Escort Table and helped each guest locate where their seats were. However, when people take it upon themselves to chance seats, unless a plated dinner, we don’t always know:) The issue of a missing setting for your Maid Of Honors Husband was due to a high chair at his setting which we promptly fixed. The Welcome sign was our mistake, we love to repurpose the welcome sign in the reception as all other decor so you receive the most use for your money!
