  • We were very excited to celebrate our wedding with the NOLA Ace Hotel this November 2020. We had flown to New Orleans from Brooklyn, NY to view the venue and decide whether it was the right venue for us. We had just put our deposit down in late February 2020 and then COVID-19 hit 2 weeks later. We thought at the time that it would blow over quickly, but alas - here we are in October of 2020, NYC is still in partial lockdown, NOLA is still in partial lockdown and we have been able to plan absolutely ZERO for our wedding. At first we had decided that we were going to push the date forward a year to 2021. The Ace was very accommodating with this and told us to just let them know when we would like to book the new date. But as COVID has raged on my fiance and I decided that we have no idea when we will be able to assure that our family and friends can safely travel to new orleans. We chose the venue because it is half way between our families - his in California and mine in NY and also... Read more

  • What a long story I have to tell about the Ace Hotel. We booked it for the ceremony and reception for our daughter's recent wedding. My daughter and her fiance met with, toured the facility and asked for a sample menu and cost for 150 people in mid January. We waited and waited and then I came to New Orleans to look at the venues she was interested in. We met with the Ace and our contact in that meeting told us that the next day would be her last day. The Ace was the venue my daughter really wanted to use and so we talked to and negotiated our contract with Dawn Ledet in February. Over the next few months, we had lots of questions and either didn't receive a reply or what we got was curt. We began to feel like we were being passed around from person to person and that no one was really attending to us. By the end of June, we decided we needed another face to face and scheduled a meeting with Dawn. When we arrived our meeting was with Lindsey and Jaime and no explanat... Read more

  • We were extremely satisfied with both the sales and event staff at the Ace Hotel in New Orleans, where we held our very small (13 people total) destination microwedding. We initially corresponded with Tey and Thomas before we were able to travel to NOLA for a tour of the spaces available at the hotel. Thomas was great at giving us ideas for how we could utilize different spaces for our ceremony and reception. He was very responsive to any questions we had both prior to and following the signing of the contract. The execution of the wedding was handled expertly by Jeff (who has since transferred to LA), Lindsey, Franki, Sierra, and Meghan. Lindsey helped coordinate every detail leading up to the weekend, when Franki took over seamlessly. Again, communication was on point - I never felt like we were chasing after them for a response. We deferred the decor to the Ace staff, and they did a fantastic job utilizing items they keep on hand, along with some fresh flowers - you would have thoug... Read more

  • Cannot say enough good things about working with Ace Hotel New Orleans! I worked with their events team to plan a formal fundraising gala for a local organization with 250 guests. Their event coordinators and sales reps were very responsive, helpful, and supportive. They always provided great guidance and kept the event logistics organized and on track. The venue is awesome, totally unique in New Orleans and very chic. Planning is very easy, as they offer chairs, tables, linens, overhead lighting, etc., and they provide great recommendations for vendors for other needs. We did a sit-down dinner, which was flawlessly coordinated by the kitchen, and everyone loved their food! They worked with us on the menu and customized it to exactly our budget and needs. Also, know that if you book your wedding here, you are supporting a business that truly gives back and supports the local New Orleans community. Highly recommend!

  • We had our 65 person, out of town here. Honestly, our wedding week was absolutely amazing. In the days and weeks after the wedding, my husband and I haven't been able to stop talking about how perfect everything turned out. We even had guests come up to us during the reception and other wedding events to complement us on how unique to us our wedding was, how beautiful the spaces were, and even the food. No matter how perfect it turned out, in the 5 months prior to the wedding, my partner and I wished on countless occasions that someone had written an honest review of the Ace New Orleans before we decided on them. They were at best indifferent, forgetful, and unprofessional. At their worst, they were rude and unapologetic. Their promotional materials are completely inaccurate: they promise capacities nearly 40% larger than their actual capacity, they list amenities which at most are non-complementary or non-guaranteed. If that was the only inaccuracy, we would have been able t... Read more

Hey Claire, it's Tey. First off, I loved the photos you sent me last month and am really glad everyone had a good time at the wedding. Your wedding was truly a reflection of your love story and I genuinely appreciate you sharing that with us. I hate to read now that you felt lost or misled along the way & would love to talk things out over the phone. I'm reaching out via email now to see what works with your schedule. Talk soon, Tey

  • I had the most amazing time at my wedding at Ace Hotel New Orleans. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and can be dressed up or down (depending on your preference) with minimal detail. It has so many special quirks but also has the New Orleans vibe that you are looking for with a destination wedding. The venue offers so much as far as setup, tables, chairs, and linens that it is just about a one stop shop for everything you will need for the special day. Every one of my guest raved about the delicious food and the large portions they received. Menu is flexible and the event staff and coordinators really cater to your every need and are very flexible and accommodating to make sure the day goes exactly how you want it. I could tell that the main goal with everyone that I worked with at the Ace was to make sure I had a fabulous and memorable night. We made the best choice with choosing Ace Hotel as our wedding venue!
