Jodi guided us through our ceremony, as well as helped with the filing of marriage licenses, and double checked we received them in the mail. My wife and I were very impressed with the number of choices we had to customize our ceremony! Jodi was readily available to answer our questions during the planning ceremony and Jason was awesome both during the rehearsal and wedding day. We were very pleased with the ceremony! It was everything we wanted - it included a sand ceremony, both parents were involved, our son was involved and it was short and sweet! I would highly recommend New Chapter Weddings to anyone looking to have an affordable and personalized ceremony! :)

We met with the owner Jodi and loved her. We were hoping to have her gir or officiant but she was unavailable for our date. She set us up with one of the other officiants. We were learly at first because we hadn't met Jason but after speaking with him on the phone prior to our wedding we knew we liked him and he would be a perfect for us! He helped us with details during the ceremony that we didn't think about and was super professional but funny at the same time. He made us feel comfortable and we felt like we had known him for years. We would definitely recommend A New Chapter to anyone looking for an officiant and we would definitely recommend Jason.

Jodie took care of all the questions I had (I had a lot) within an extremely timely manner. Our officiant was very easy going and did a phenomenal job. We were able to hand select exactly what we wanted the officiant to say and it made it the most unique, memorable experience!

We came to A New Chapter in a unique situation. It was three weeks before our wedding, and we found out we were without an officiant. New Chapter really made us a priority, and gave us the most breath taking ceremony. Harry was our officiant, and he was such a joy to work with. I highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with everything. She was on time. Where as I was late. Lol. But she stuck it out with us. She even waited for the rain to let up. (Married by our in ground pool) I recommend this place 100%

From our first encounter with Jodi we knew this was it! Jodi was easily able to understand the concepts we imagined and help us create a uniquely personal ceremony. A New Chapter Weddings provided us with an officiant and ceremony coordinator. The cost was very reasonable and they did a very bare-minimum job in both areas. Delayed email communications leading up to the wedding were frustrating; this could have been managed with better expectations setting. Upon arrival the day-of, our officiant informed us that she needed to leave within 30min of the end of the ceremony. While we were able to accommodate this last-minute, this would have been helpful to know prior to the day of to ensure we understood the urgency of her schedule. Worst of all, during our intimate, 40-person ceremony the officiant stumbled on multiple words, emoted little-to-no feeling during the readings, and came across as if it was the first time she was reading the script. She also failed to project her voice at all, which was disappointing for an outdoor ceremony. Multiple guests mentioned that they heard nothing - a real shame for such an intimate ceremony. If you are looking for an inexpensive and basic wedding officiant, they will get the job done. I was helping a family member with wedding and shower planning. When I attended the meeting it was offered that the notes of the meeting would be sent to me. They never were. Everyone was always friendly in person but we did not get follow through on communications. The glaring example of this is that today many months after the wedding I received a message to call asap. No identification of who the person was. When I called concerned what it could be. I identified myself to Jody who answered and asked what they needed from me. I was told Oh it is all taken care of now, thanks for calling me back. I questioned what is this about, who is this? I was told my family member still owed the reception site money and she was trying to warn her before getting sent to collections. This does not strike me as professional at all. The family member(who did not know I had been contacted) has called me upset because Jody has called her so much at work today that her boss is angry. I told... She told me she contacted the reception site and they said she has no outstanding balance with them. She also stated she has paid in full the amount of the contract with the New Chapters Wedding. She is feeling harassed and does not understand how she is being charged an additional fee over and above the original agreement that there is no paperwork for. I find the communication of this business to be unprofessional. I will not be recommending to any of my friends, or family to use this wedding planner. This review is not based on the quality of the work done for the shower or the wedding. This is only based on my encounters with staff in person and by phone.
