Our experience with Sandra was exceptional. She was everything we needed, and more. And sweet as can be! It was an amazing and stress free wedding.

We met with a few wedding planners on Maui before selecting Sandra and her team at A Maui Wedding Day. A Maui Wedding Day works with excellent vendors on the island and we were thrilled with all of them. We were very attentive to the budget. Sandra was willing to work with us to be sure we were spending money on the details that were important to us. Overall it really was the best day and our guests raved about the reception...the tropical flowers, the delicious food, the gorgeous venue and the fun DJ. We would definitely recommend A Maui Wedding Day! Thanks Sandra!

Sandra was awesome!! She listened to our long list of requirements and tried her best to ensure everything was as we wanted and more. She was very friendly and accommodating. Scheduling calls with her was super easy and she was very open to a lot of our last-minute changes. Sandra was kind enough to receive a lot of packages on our behalf and store them properly for us. We also had two events before the wedding day (typical Indian wedding) which we invited her to and she not only showed up with a colleague but they also helped out a lot with setting up everything and helping out anywhere possible. She is a real professional and working with her was a pleasure! We highly recommend her and the team of A Maui Wedding Day!

Not only was the wedding everything I had hoped for, but the flower arrangements, the care and passion that these ladies put into their work, made our day perfect. Everything was completely taken care of and I didn't worry about a thing. You ladies are absolutely amazing and thank you so much for helping create the perfect wedding day!

Sandra at a Maui Wedding Day was wonderful and I'd highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator. As someone who has no idea about vendors or what to anticipate for a beach wedding in Maui, I totally had to rely on her to figure it all out. I was pleased with her pricing, I was pleased with the vendors and I was so thrilled that she had it all together on the wedding day. She took care of the timeline, coordinating with all the vendors and helped with the marriage license. All we had to do was show up! I was very disappointed that the bracelet I purchased for the wedding didn't arrive in time before I left for Maui. I REALLY wanted something to cover the wrist tattoo I got and so I asked Sandra to have the florist make one last minute. She figured it all out and it actually looked better than the one that didn't arrive in time. Overall, you won't be disappointed.

I first was drawn to a Maui wedding day when I was googling coordinators in the Maui area and I loved their website. I reached out to a few of the websites and when I got a response from Sandra it was so warm and welcoming I knew right away that A Maui wedding day was right up my alley. I am from Vancouver Canada so Sandra’s openeness and willingness to provide her suggestions and recommendations was instrumental in making my wedding experience stress free. I truly enjoyed my evening and never once wondered about anything going on. The entire event went off without a glitch! My guests had a great time and it was a day I will never forget. I will say as well I had a bunch of kids at my wedding and I never thought to have an area for them to help keep them entertained. Sandra recognized how amazing a kids table would be and took it upon herself to bring some extra colouring materials, coloured piping and beads ! Offhandedly my mom, Sandra and I were talking at the reception and it was mentioned that it was a shame we couldn’t take the flowers home and they would end up being discarded. Sandra suggested ( with zero pushiness whatsoever ) that we could donate them to some of the local hospices in the surrounding area and that she would personally make the deliveries and ensure the flowers were reloved. This gesture warmed my heart beyond explanation and I am so grateful I had someone so thoughtful as a part of my day. I would highly recommend a Maui Wedding Day and wish to repeat my heartfelt thanks for making our wedding day exceptional.

We had the most magical elopement wedding on Maui. Sandra could not have been more helpful & professional in making sure that every little details of the wedding were taken care of. I had the bride’s worst nightmare moment when the hotel dry cleaner left some stains on my brand new wedding dress during the pressing processs a day before the wedding. In despair I informed Sandra who went the extra mile in making sure the stains were removed in time for the ceremony through her network of vendors. She has every couple best interest at heart and genuinely wants the best wedding for them. I was so moved by what Sandra has done for us and will definitely recommend her to any future brides. Sandra Wagner is great, she's very kind and caring. That said, communication is not her strong point. I didn't know that the day of the wedding I was going to get a completely different wedding coordinator for my ceremony. I didn't find out until five days before the wedding that Sandra wasn't going to be my on-site coordinator (I had already been planning my wedding with Sandra for 8 months at that point). My on-site coordinator, Joanna was not helpful, she was extremely impatient and rushed me and my photographer while I was getting ready. She kept telling me to "hurry" and "your family is waiting" and made me feel very anxious. To make matters worse, following the ceremony she ghosted, she didn't say bye or anything. She made it very clear that her intentions were to get out of my ceremony as quickly as possible. She did not make me feel like I was a top priority. Another issue was that I was not informed how little privacy I would actually have in the bridal bathroom. I was marri... Read moreed at the Ali'i Kula Lavender farm and I paid extra to have access to the bridal bathroom. I was not fully told that I was have NO privacy. While I was getting ready employees kept barging in and following the ceremony I found all my belongings shoved into an old cardboard box. I felt extremely disrespected. Another issue was the delivery of my cake. The vendor did not make me the correct size and we were stuck with a cake that was much too small. We were also promised cupcakes that never showed up. Again, the issue was communication. All in all, my actual ceremony ended up being wonderful, but the pre-ceremony and lack of communication really put a damper on my experiences with A Maui Wedding Day. Would I recommend them? Sure, but be extra assertive about what exactly is happening. Otherwise you'll just be an afterthought.

Sandra was very nice. As was Joanne. (The coordinator we had on the day of) Downsides: -She seemed very robotic in her suggestions. Which if you have an bottomless bank account that may be fine, however when I asked for cheaper or closer restuarant suggestions she just suggested the same one continuously. Seeing as i was on a tight budget and couldnt take most of her suggestions I had to do almost all of the leg work myself. She provided location and a day of cordinator and that was it -responses were very slow within 6 months of the date. I would frequently be waiting a month and a half to hear back about simple things. Which definitely doesnt help wedding day stress - I honestly felt that since we werent paying a ton of money we were less of a priority

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandra as a wedding coordinator. Our wedding day turned out amazingly, with Sandra taking care of all the little details (setup, taking down, packing up our stuff for us, etc). I gave Sandra some images/pinterest boards of what my vision was and she made great vendor introductions and helped devlier exactly what I wanted. Sandra and her team have a very calm and cool demeanour which is exactly what you want on the wedding day! You can tell they've done this a million times. Every vendor I spoke to during our planning also said Sandra is one of the best on the island. One thing I would recommend - definitely take advantage of Sandra's policy that you can schedule a call with her at any time! I assume Sandra gets bogged down with emails from all over the place, so the best way to get quick answers is to take advantage of speaking by phone (if you're planning a destination wedding like we were).
